Be kind to the less fortunate.

tdy gera was being very kind. she gave $5 to a retarded (i couldn't find another word to put it) school kid. it all happened on the Ang Mo Kio MRT platform.

this kid sat next to me and asked all stuttering if i spoke mandarin in very broken english. then he started to ask me if i saw him cry at the other end of the platform, which i onli got what he was trying to ask after like 4 times? then he began his story of him being late for school, ran and dropped his $10 that his mom told him to top up his Ez-Link card and has no money now.. blah blah. i felt for him, but i offered $5 instead. he was like "huh~" but accepted it when i told him it's better than nothing. haa. it doesn't end here.

after he got his $5 he started to ask stupid and weird qns. like where do i stay and if i have a boyfriend. the climax was this.

in mandarin: jiejie, if you don't have a boyfriend, would u marry me?

i changed the topic to where he was going. he said bugis. then i told him he should take to CityHall then change 1 stop. but he insisted that the MRT personnel told him that he should take to JurongEast and from there it onli takes 5 mins to Bugis. ya right. it's either that the uncle u asked is trying to kid you or you're just plain dumb. sigh.

after the whole incident, i conclude that he is either NOT a problematic kid but acts damn well, or that he is really TAT problematic. =.=

oh wells. and u can say that i'm either being kind or gullible.

it's pretty nice to work there (banqueting deparment) ^^ i've always talked about how M Hotel is very nice to work in and all, but trust me, SCC is even better.lol. my manager takes great care of our welfare, so does uncle frankie (our supervisor). he even gave me the nick name "Hello Kitty" and Catrina "Popeye's Wife", aka "Olive". lol. he's very "gam" with me and we crap and poke fun at each other all day long. he helps everybody with their job (when it's soooo slack already). i seriously dun mind going there to work again (:

i've seen so many couples and friends quarrel, when all it takes is just to say sorry. i noe 'sorry' is a word that many ppl cant really bring themselves to say it. but it is not the onli word to bring across your thoughts and message... here's an example:

see? isn't that so simple? i understand that girls wan guys to pay attention to us and to notice that we are hurt or offended at times. but seriously, not all guys are that attentive to notice that. so the best way is to let them noe. a serious talk or "confrontation" will be too pushy or aggressive, hence a jokingly manner might work.

Thurs went to Hougang Green to accompany oppa to buy some stuff then went for Kbox. On the non-aircon 325, we saw this:

Recently i've been taking a lot of 325. Ystd just took 325 again to go visiting at Mrs Lee's (my primary school teacher) house. it's really nice and kind of her to still invite us over to her house every year, even though it's been 6 years since we left Xinmin Primary.

although not many of us turned up (onli 14 out of 43) and many of us were like quiet and not too interactive, it's nice to meet up and see how everyone's doing. (: i've found many similarities amongst us. like michelle's doing bqt as well and that cheekian and some others are dancing as well. but i'm too shy to admit that i dance too. cos i kinda sucked. haa.

YEA RIGHT. all the past 4 papers that i did for practice was easier lo >.< to think evie and me tot that we studied pretty hard, camping out at Venezia, fattening ourselves up with icecream and mugg. yet the paper killed us today. oh wells, it's over.

was supposed to go shopping with the giant, mr edward but he bangseh-ed me last min last night so have no plans after the paper. so went meimei accompanied me to go eyebrow shaping. the pro shop that she frequents was closed - down on my luck - hence we went to another one. to think i tot that the auntie was nice and careful. she CUT my SKIN and gave me a pretty lame excuse:

"when you shave your eyebrow you're bound to get a cut" BULLSHIT! just admit that u're not that pro can. =.= on CNY's eve's eve and i got a cut. bldy hell >.< i'm not angry that i got cut. i'm just angry that i got cut and she can give that kind of an excuse. and still charge me the full $8 for it. bad experience. i doubt i'll ever patronise again, though meimei says the masks they use for facials are of a good brand (which i agree).

was watching this new korean drama, THE SNOW QUEEN. it's pretty good. just started on the first episode. it's about the same old romance thingy, but it started off very interesting-ly. new approach and storyline. i'm looking forward to the 2nd epi. (: wish crunchyroll had it man. >.< it's sooooo diff to watch on youtube.

V-Day 'o7.

3rd anniversary. lol. i told her i'd make her a huge bouquet of roses on our 5th anniversary. but she scolded me for by then she'll be 22. LOL.

studied with Evie at Venezia at Guthrie House again and had icecream again. ARGH. fattening >.< then meet freda and yuying at NYDC at Heeren for Dinner..

Call me Princess Gera.

WHOA. i feel so proud of myself. LOL. u'll know why...

i mended the wall with puttyfill (cute name for white plaster) though my didi said my mending suck. i think his sucked more. lol. so thick the paster!!

me and my brother painted the wall on my room (the one with loads of posters and holes from it) with just 2 small brushes. the sponge roller that my dad asked us to use was peeling and best of all, it can't ROLL. =.= so my didi ran down to get 2 small brushes and we did it all over again.

after a few hrs.... tada!!

ignore the mess on my side table after the painting. everything's stacked there. lol.
the colour of the paint's called LOVE. so sweet right? i've a WALL OF LOVE! ^^
the colour's soooo popular that it was sold out and i had to make another trip down when the goods arrive! me and my good taste :P

i've always loved shades of maroon, red, purple and pink. but i got this idea from venezia's wall. teehee. nice colour right? but it looks dark cos of the lighting laa.

then today, i took out my compass, pencil, eraser and ruler and started to draw on the wall. Yes, i drew on the wall. then i started to paint. and wait. and paint, and wait. and screw up, and re-paint. then paint another small portion of dirty wall. then wait.

then i looked at the almost finished work. it looks bare..

TADA! Sparkly Princess Gera. LOL.
but i still think the space around the ends of 'e' and 'g' is a bit bare. was thinking of putting a heart there but am afraid it'll be too cluttered. oh wells. i'll contd the rest of the wall when i have ideas ba. i still wan my HUGE mirror! ^^

Nails Trouble.

always get your hands and fingers stained with nail polish when trying to beautify ur naked nails?
the second best way, wear a glove! the first being go to a manicurist laa. lol.

i was trying to paint my nails maroon red but i got my fingers and hands stained red (like i just murdered someone >.<) and my nail polish chipped. hence i used a glove to protect ruining my already done manicure on one hand while removing the polish on the other. the cotton from the cotton wool always get stuck on my pretty polished nails! >.<

if not i'll seriously go crazy.

everything's my fault. i'm the one that put in effort and did my part, even more than that, and i got shit and got screwed. someone's forever the angel, all nice and cool, while i'm the fucking devil that sucks and is evil.

i'm forever the one who's not so nice and not so good. everybody else gets the better deal. me? i get shit.

the world is so cruel and harsh. i dun understand why i have to go through all this shit over and over again. giving me experience is not the excuse. why is it so unfair?! i din not commit any crime and i've not harmed ppl. why must u do this to me?!

the world is so competitive. u have to kill each other to fight for wad u wan. ppl dun think for you. u have to think for urself. being kind and considerate don't work. being selfish does.
